This blog used to be the reactions of a reader of the conservative Catholic journal First Things to the many fine articles to be found therein. Now it's just another minor blog of staircase wit, from just another minor blogger who doesn't realize that blogging is dead. Favorite Beatles Songs
This fellow is going through the entire Beatles catalog, ranking and commenting on his favorites. It's good reading, too. I couldn't do it, though. For me, having a favorite Beatles song is like having a favorite page of the encycopedia.
I have been a Beatles fan since 1980 right before Lennon was shot. I know their entire catalogue, but I could not rank each song like this. I do not agree with "Boys" being at the bottom rung of his opinion ranking either, so I will leave it at that.
